The first idea was a long central peninsula with the main yard on the peninsula.
The new idea was to move to the peninsula earlier and move the main yard to the far right and the YM’s can stand outside the layout, with everyone else inside. Big gain is shorter aisles.
How big would the turnback loops be on the T-shaped peninsula? Might be getting pretty big, taking up a lot of aisle space.
ReplyDeleteThe turn back was still ok as far as aisle space was concerned. The problem was the lower right corner. There is a sink in the way that made the right side of the T peninsula way to short. That was not anticipated until I got back down there for measurements. So for now I will stick with the longer peninsula.
